Our Goals
Mission
Almaguin Pride is dedicated to creating meaningful impact at the local level while building a sustainable foundation for lasting change. We prioritize a person-first approach, offering support and resources to individuals seeking a safe and inclusive space to be themselves. Our organization serves the Almaguin Highlands region to support the representation, de-stigmatization, and growth of community between LGBTQ2S+ individuals and the wider local populace, working to do so through events, outreach, and campaigns.
Vision
We envision an inclusive, safe and supportive community in the Almaguin Highlands where everyone is free to be themselves. We are dedicated to uplifting the LGBTQ2S+ community, fostering unity, and combating homophobia through education and support, creating a stronger, more accepting Almaguin for all.
